Zoom, pan and turn
Fit, actual size and the steps between, a wheel that zooms about the pointer, crisp pixels above 200 %, and a zoom that can stay put while you step through a burst.
- Fit or actual size. 0 fits the window, 1 shows one image pixel per screen pixel, and a double-click toggles between them. A small image is never blown up to fill the window.
- Zoom about the pointer. The wheel keeps the spot under it in place; + and - step about the centre.
- Crisp above 200 %. Pixels are drawn as squares rather than smoothed, so you see what the file holds.
- Pan by dragging, with Shift+← Shift+→ ↑ ↓, or with two fingers on a Mac trackpad, where a pinch zooms and a swipe steps.
- Keep Zoom When Stepping (Z): compare the same detail across a burst of shots.
- Rotate the view with R and Shift+R, without touching the file.
